Arguably one of the best times of the year for a cheese fan, as cheesemakers, mongers and stall holders go into overdrive and work all hours to bring you the best cheeses for your festive boards. With that in mind, this month’s round-up of events have been selected to help you discover, shop and prepare for your celebrations. 1. Evening of Cheese at Borough Market
Borough Market’s annual Evening of Cheese is back on 13th December from 6 – 9pm. Get ready for a cheese-themed shopping extravaganza led by this wonderful community of cheesemongers. Enjoy tastings, seek expert advice and put together a festive cheeseboard featuring the highest quality cheeses from Britain, Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
2. Level One Virtual Cheese Course with Partout Fromage
This is for anybody who loves or works in cheese and wants to learn more about it. From the basics of cheese making, affinage and pairing to the principles of cheese service and degustation. The course consists of two interactive live webinars over the weekend, with one session exclusively dedicated to cheese tasting. *Paris Time
3. Clawson Cheese Shop: Christmas Extended Opening
If you’re going traditional with Blue Stilton this year, make sure to head to the source this December. Usually only open one weekend each month, the lovely folk at Clawson are extending their shop hours to Monday to Saturday. Alongside some special seasonal offers, you’ll be able to pick up their full range of festive cheeses, including Blue Stilton, White Stilton with Cranberries and Double Gloucester with Chive and Onions as well as their best-selling Shropshire Blue and Rutland Red.

4. Lynher Dairies Christmas Shopping Evening
Join the team down at Lynher Dairies in Truro for an evening of festive fun. Showcasing their award-winning cheeses, as well as beef from their own dairy cows, they will be serving up delectable cheese toasties and specially-curated cheeseboards throughout the evening. whilst you place your Christmas orders and browse their hamper selections.
5. Cheese & Charcuterie with Tŷ Caws
Join Ty Caws & The Baker’s Pig for a mouth-watering event filled with delicious British cheese and Welsh charcuterie. For just £22, your ticket includes a complimentary glass of fizz on arrival and snacks at the table; before moving onto three cheese and charcuterie pairings with bread and olives to accompany.
