With the new academic year upon us, we’re busy working on new courses here at the Academy. That’s no reason for you to have your heads stuck in a book; we’ve got plenty of suggestions to keep you busy, with cheese making classes, supper clubs, training courses, tastings and discounts galore! CHEESE course
1. One-Day Cheesemaking Course at the Courtyard Dairy
Spend a day learning how to make cheese in this purpose-built cheese dairy. Taught by industry expert Andy Swinscoe, you’ll be guided through the background science and technical theory of how to make cheeses, and then experience hands-on cheese-making of two distinctly different cheeses. And you’ll get to take home the cheese you made.

2. Patrick McGuigan’s Online Cheese School Associate Course
Join cheese expert Patrick McGuigan for an online cheese odyssey from the comfort of your own home, exploring everything from how cheese is made and how to taste like a pro to the history of cheese and the ultimate drinks matches.

3. Speciality & Fine Food Fair
Taking place annually at Olympia London, the Speciality & Fine Food Fair is a hub of inspiration for the artisan food & drink world and is a fantastic opportunity to hear and learn from top retail specialists, industry disruptors and entrepreneurs. Please note this is strictly a trade-only event and no under 18s are allowed entry.
