Having begun as a market stall in the 18th Century, Paxton & Whitfield has seen many changes in cheese over the years. In 1850, Paxton & Whitfield was appointed cheesemonger to HM Queen Victoria and has held a Royal Warrant of Appointment to every subsequent monarch. Paxton and Whitfield now holds over 220 years’ experience.
Paxton & Whitfield champion artisan cheesemakers and seek out wonderful new cheeses from across the UK and Europe. They promote traditional and artisan methods of production and do their best to keep local cheesemaking traditions alive and profitable.
Paxton & Whitfield offers Level One and Level Two courses, which both take place in historic Jermyn Street, London. The price includes the Academy of Cheese delegate pack, access to the online exam, a light lunch and refreshments.
