Cheese Orbit | Level 1: Associate Certification

Why Choose This Course?
This is your chance to learn all about cheese, under the guidance of one of the main leaders of the Romanian cheese scene.

You will gain the confidence to ask informed questions and navigate cheese sections with ease. You will be confident in choosing your cheeses for your dishes and professional cheese boards. Under the careful guidance of Andreea, you will taste 12 of the 25 international cheeses included for study in your Associate Exam and you will learn how to describe them professionally as well as how to make a cheese board, and how to cut, serve and safely store your cheese. If studying in Romania, Bucharest cheese shop, Amis de la Fete, will be able to supply the cheeses at a special delegate-only price (Andreea will send the discount code upon sign up of the course), whilst UK delegates can order a special Level One Tasting Box from The Pangbourne Cheese Shop.

What people are saying
For me, everything other than sandwich cheese has always felt too complicated and expensive. However, after Andreea introduced me to the exciting and fun world of cheese, I realized that with the right guidance, one can have a fantastic and unique tasting experience. Andreea is a creative and passionate person who can make even the most pungent cheese appetizing.
I used to think that cheese was only meant to be eaten on pizza or in sandwiches. I had no idea that cheese could offer so much more. Trying Andreea's different cheese combinations was a wonderful eye-opener on the world of cheese and what it has to offer
Andreea’s love for cheese isn't just about taste; it's about the stories behind each wheel. The way her eyes light up when she talks about a cheesemaker's family tradition or the history of a specific region... reminds you that food is about connection and culture. Sharing a cheeseboard with her is always a heartwarming experience.
To listen to Andreea talking about how the cheese is made, or how to pair it with the right drink, means to actually travel with the mind's eye through the entire journey of this wonder, whether it is a creamy, buttery cheese or…a hard cheese, a young one, or mature. All your senses are aroused and challenged to try combinations of sweet and salty, which you wouldn't have thought of combining!
