Established in 2016, The Beverage Clique has been providing consultancy and training services in the field of wines and spirits. Formed by a team of passionate & professional individuals, The Beverage Clique has since enabled many professionals and enthusiasts in obtaining internationally renowned certifications in Wine, Whisky and Japanese Sake.
Cheese has always been the natural accompaniment to most beverage pairings and the Beverage Clique has since took on the mantle of providing accessible cheese knowledge to trade professionals as well as the consumer masses. With more than a decade in F&B service and fine hospitality, Sean has taken the lead in working with the Academy of Cheese to deliver structured cheese appreciation training to provide synergy with the other programs of the Beverage Clique.
Sean Ou – Head of Education
He served the highly acclaimed Singapore Airlines as a Sommelier and Trainer for 11 years before clipping his wings. His long aspiration to become Master of Wine has led him down the path of achieving the elusive WSET Level 4 Diploma. His repertoire also extends to being a Master Sake Sommelier / International Kikisake-shi and Certified Whisky Ambassador.
His past professional experience spans across serving as Head of Wine for Southeast Asia under the SARMENT Group and currently he sits as the Head of Education for the BEVERAGE CLIQUE.
