Tom is your go-to person when it comes to BOSKA Professional products. After working at a Dutch furniture brand, his cheese journey at BOSKA started as a Product Developer in 2022, where he designed new tools and enhanced existing ones. Having studied Product Design in Amsterdam, Tom is dedicated to creating products that last a lifetime. For him, longevity and usability are key to sustainable design.

With in-depth knowledge of every tool inside and out, Tom likes to share his passion and expertise with cheesemongers, cheesemakers and those working in the cheese distribution chain. His mission is to provide cheese industry professionals with the right tools and know-how to create a top-quality experience in the workplace.

In 2024 Tom was recognised for his services to the cheese industry by being inducted into the Guilde des Maitres Fromagers aux Pays-Bas, the Dutch chapter set up to recognise contributions to the international cheese community.  

Working with food is nothing new for Tom; before finishing his studies, he spent 7 years working at a fruit and vegetable stall at the local market in the Netherlands. The stall even won the "Fruit and Vegetable Stall of the Year" award—twice! Fun fact: Tom later realised that his father was born into a family of dairy farmers—it seems it was meant to be!

Although Tom is still learning about cheese, he is always on hand to assist anyone working within the industry and answer any questions to help them find the right tools for the job.
