After discovering she loves cheese as much as beer and their perfect synergy, Cheryl decided to become an Academy of Cheese training partner. She has led a number of award-winning food and drink tours in the UK and Europe focusing on these 2 passions. Specialising in flavour matching, Cheryl will assist you in discovering your own perfect partners. During her events and courses, she likes to explore the stories and people behind each cheese in a fun light hearted manner.

She currently works with local cheesemakers and retailers to independently promote a Buy Local & British ethos to consumers.

My first stop for all things beer! Having attended a CAMRA event where Cheryl gave a very engaging talk & tasting Belgium beers, I invited Cheryl to produce some tasting notes for 2 customers of mine. Given the quality and depth of them, the tasting notes have proved invaluable. Additionally, Cheryl gave an insightful and much-appreciated talk on food pairings for an event hosted by the Department of International Trade to an audience of brewers starting on their export journey.

Thanks Cheryl for a fantastic private beer tasting event for a large group of friends and family. A few people enjoyed themselves a little bit too much! Would highly recommend. Everyone had a brilliant night and although it was a few weeks ago they still talk about it. Great social evening while also learning something. You are extremely knowledgeable and delivered it in a fun informal way. In addition to answering all the random questions thrown at you, you even joined in the after-party games! What more could I want?! Also the food was amazing and good value. A fantastic selection of meat, cheese, crackers and bread, which matched the half a dozen beers we tasted. Thank you again.
