Harry English is a cheesemonger at La Fromagerie Marylebone, where he has worked across several roles since 2022. Beginning as a waiter and warehouse assistant, he transitioned into the cheese room in early 2025 - a move that allowed him to develop a deeper understanding of British and European cheeses through hands-on experience in selection, care, and customer service.
Before joining La Fromagerie full-time, Harry worked at Yield, a wine bar in Highbury, where he curated and served cheeseboards paired with carefully chosen wines. This experience strengthened his appreciation for the balance between flavour, texture, and provenance - a focus that continues to guide his work today.
In August 2025, Harry completed his Academy of Cheese Level One Associate certification, achieving full marks. He continues to build his expertise in cheesemongering and wine pairing, combining technical knowledge with a commitment to showcasing artisanal producers and exceptional quality.
