Delivered online in English, the course covers milk types, cheesemaking, classification, storage, service, and food pairing. You’ll learn the Academy’s Structured Approach to Tasting and taste 15 carefully selected cheeses spanning a range of styles and origins. You’ll also gain access to the online learning platform, where you’ll study a library of 25 key cheeses to reinforce your learning. Participants receive printed study materials, a cheese tasting sheet, and practical tools for applying what they’ve learned in real-world settings. Led by a certified trainer, the session is interactive, practical, and designed to spark lasting interest and confidence in the world of cheese. Upon completion of the online exam, you’ll earn the Level 1 Associate Certificate and Pin Badge from the Academy of Cheese.

Please note once the course is booked it is non-refundable. All bookings are final, however, if you are unable to attend you can reassign your booking to a new available date or to another person. We require 14 days’ notice prior to original booking date. We reserve the right to cancel a course at short notice should events beyond our control make this unavoidable. Should this occur, delegates will be offered a place on our next available scheduled course or a full refund.

Yes, to be certified candidates will need to take the Academy of Cheese® Level One Associate exam after completing the course. This exam is included in the course fee and can be taken online, at home and at the convenience of the student. Candidates who successfully complete the exam will receive a certificate and badge.
