Emma Young is a British cheese expert with over 16 years of professional experience in the cheese industry. She has worked across retail, wholesale, and cheesemaking, and now operates as an international consultant, leading projects throughout the UK and in countries including Bermuda and Saudi Arabia.
Alongside her consultancy work, Emma teaches retail and affinage courses for Mons Formation, and delivers retail training for the Academy of Cheese, the Guild of Fine Food, and CIFCA.
She is also the author of The Cheese Wheel – A Guide to Flavour in Cheese and is widely recognised on Instagram as The Cheese Explorer.
