FRAISE et FROMAGE: Level One Associate Certification

Why Choose This Course?
The Academy of Cheese Level 1 Associate course with Fraise et Fromage is designed for anyone curious about cheese, whether you are a food lover, hospitality professional, wine enthusiast, or simply someone who enjoys discovering new flavours.
This introductory certification offers a structured and engaging way to build confidence in understanding, tasting, and talking about cheese. Through guided tastings, discussions, and visual learning, participants will explore the fundamentals of how cheese is made, the main cheese styles of the world, and the factors that influence flavour and texture.
The course is designed to be relaxed, interactive, and sensory-led, encouraging participants to taste, observe, and discuss cheeses together rather than simply learn theory. During the session, participants will taste 12-14 cheeses representing different styles and milk types, helping them understand how production methods, ageing, and terroir shape flavour.
The session also includes a special guided exploration of cheese and wine pairings, helping participants understand how flavour combinations work and how to pair cheese more confidently at home or professionally.
By the end of the course, participants will not only have a deeper understanding of cheese, but also the confidence to taste, serve, pair, and talk about cheese with greater knowledge and appreciation.
