International Milk Dairy Exhibition

Fiera di Bergamo will host the fourth edition of B2Cheese, an international B2B event in Italy entirely dedicated to the dairy supply chain.

An event for producers, processors, distributors and Italian and international buyers, it is designed to generate concrete business relationships, exchange of expertise and new business opportunities, in an increasingly complex and selective market context.

B2Cheese is part of a week of events dedicated to cheese culture. The event opens on 23rd and 24th September and Forme, cultural partner and point of reference for the sector, continues from 25-27 September with events, tastings and initiatives spread throughout the city.

Alongside cheese producers and maturers, all segments of the supply chain are represented: food-tech, logistics, packaging, distribution and consultancy, together with protection consortia, trade associations and institutions.

The province of Bergamo holds the European record for the number of PDO cheeses, with nine designations, and is a UNESCO Creative City for Gastronomy. The exhibition centre is located a few minutes from the Milan-Bergamo Il Caravaggio international airport, in the heart of one of Europe’s most dynamic economic macro-regions. In 2024,177 exhibitors (up by 64% compared to 2022) and over 3,400 professional operators, were in attendance.

Opportunities for your business

If you’re a cheesemaker or affineur, then B2Cheese invites you to become an exhibitor. Here’s why:

1. Access to serious buyers, not general consumers

B2Cheese positions itself as Italy’s only international B2B trade fair dedicated exclusively to the dairy and cheese sector. That means exhibitors are meeting trade professionals – buyers, distributors, importers, retailers, HoReCa operators, and industry stakeholders – rather than casual visitors. The event has previously attracted buyers from 40 countries.

2. Direct meetings with retail and distribution decision-makers

The exhibitor proposition focuses heavily on business development. Cheesemakers are given the opportunity to meet management teams from major national and international retail chains, helping open conversations with distributors, supermarket groups, and export partners.

3. Structured matchmaking through “Cheese Hunter”

B2Cheese offers its “Cheese Hunter” platform, allowing exhibitors to pre-book B2B meetings with buyers and industry professionals. This reduces the randomness of trade shows and makes the two days commercially productive.

4. International buyer recruitment support

Through its Incoming Buyers Program, B2Cheese actively recruits international buyers and even allows exhibitors to suggest prospects or existing target customers to invite into the programme. That gives cheesemakers a practical route to export development.

5. Industry intelligence and thought leadership

Alongside the exhibition are conferences, workshops, and market discussions covering trends in distribution, quality, export opportunities, and sector development—giving cheesemakers insight as well as sales opportunities.

6. Credibility of location and sector ecosystem

The event takes place at Fiera di Bergamo, in one of Italy’s strongest cheese-producing regions. Bergamo itself is positioned by organisers as part of a wider dairy excellence ecosystem, linked to the FORME cheese movement and regional DOP cheese heritage.
