Definition

Honorary Fellowships are awarded in recognition of individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the work and/or causes of the Academy of Cheese.

They are given to someone to show respect for their contributions rather than through study, exams or payment.

An Honorary Fellow will have made substantial voluntary contributions to the Academy of Cheese educational programme including creating the Standards and Learning Outcomes for Level One, Two and Three. 

They will have created content, materials, exam questions and taken part in module reviews for the certifications. 

They will understand the entirety of the whole Syllabus and how its content fits together. 

They will have been mentors to the Academy of Cheese team and/or delegates studying at Level Three and/or Master of Cheese.
