About this course:
For individuals new to cheese study, this certification provides an introduction to the world of cheese. You’ll explore the main types and styles of cheese through sight, smell, and taste, while also gaining the skills to describe them (and much more). In conjunction with MWM Wine School, cheese and wine expert and educator Adolphus Foo offers hands-on teaching sessions, and using the Academy of Cheese Structured Approach to Tasting, will guide students through 12 of the 25 cheeses studied for the Associate Certification. As a Certified Wine and Sake Sommelier, Adolphus brings a wealth of expertise not only in cheese but also in wine and culinary arts, providing a well-rounded, cross-disciplinary foundation for students.
Held in Hong Kong, the course is a full-day event, starting at 9am. The price includes the Academy of Cheese delegate pack, access to the online exam, available in Simplified Chinese or English, a light lunch and refreshments.
