The Cheese Bar
Championing British (and German) Cheese
Since opening their Flagship restaurant in Camden, the founders of The Cheese Bar chain have been championing the very best of British cheese in a fun, informal, and accessible way.
About the Founder
Mathew Carver founded The Cheese Truck in 2014, selling grilled cheese sandwiches to festival goers at Glastonbury Music Festival from a bright yellow converted ice cream van. He has gone on to become a well-respected and vocal advocate for British cheese, opening four trailblazing cheese restaurants in the UK - The Cheese Bar, The Cheese Barge, Rind and the world's first conveyor
belt of cheese at Pick & Cheese - and most recently Pick & Cheese in Berlin. He judges internationally for the World Cheese Awards and recently co-authored The Cheese Life book.
