This one-day course, held in the heart of Paris, is designed for professionals and enthusiasts alike. You will taste twelve cheeses curated from the Academy of Cheese Level One Library of 25 cheeses. Each cheese will be paired with drinks (such as wine, beer or tea) and analysed using the Academy of Cheese tasting approach and its Make/Post-Make model.
Each session promises a fabulous day filled with learning, socialising and savouring the amazing world of cheese.
The Academy of Cheese Level One Associate course is designed for professionals and enthusiasts alike. The course is devoted to tasting cheeses at various stages of the ripening process, discussing and understanding the Structured Approach to Tasting Cheese (SATC) and the Academy of Cheese proprietary cheese classification system – the Make/Post-Make model.

Course details:
– Languages: delivered in English, French and/or Chinese.
– Duration: 8 hours (10am-6pm)
– Frequency: one course in each language every six months

Yes, to become a Certified Associate, candidates will need to take the Academy of Cheese Level One Associate exam after completing the course. This exam can be taken online, at home and at the convenience of the student. Candidates who successfully complete the exam will receive a certificate and badge – as well as the right to say they are qualified in cheese!

Please note once the course is booked it is non-refundable. All bookings are final, however, if you are unable to attend you can reassign your booking to a new available date or to another person. We require 14 days’ notice prior to original booking date. We reserve the right to cancel a course at short notice should events beyond our control make this unavoidable. Should this occur, delegates will be offered a place on our next available scheduled course or a full refund.
