Jonny is an experienced professional educator for the drinks and hospitality industry and has a background in restaurants including working as a sommelier in fine dining and for a specialist wine, cheese and charcuterie bar & restaurant in Vancouver. 

He co-owns South London Wine School and is a regular tutor for West London Wine School where he teaches a range of professional courses including WSET wine courses, Wine Scholar Guild and professional BPET beer courses.  

Jonny’s passion for cheese intertwines with his love of wine and beer and offers a great insight into the pairing and interaction of these wonderful partners. He brings his 20  years of experience working in wine & beer education and the drinks & hospitality industry to the Academy of Cheese courses and is excited to teach these inspiring and entertaining courses.
