Every two years, over one hundred cheese makers, scientists, and members of the cheese industry gather at North Cadbury Court in Somerset for presentation and discussion of current research on topics related to artisan cheese.

Since the first conference in 2012, they have provided a rare opportunity to share practical and technical information geared specifically toward this specialist audience. Just as importantly, they provide a chance to meet others within the industry and spend two days making connections and exploring new ideas.

This year, you can expect an exciting line up of speakers, including:

Professor John Barlow, University of Vermont Quality Milk Research Lab
Ivan Larcher, Larcher Consulting
Professor Chris Reynolds, University of Reading
An update on the progress of the bovine TB vaccine field trials and rollout plans from APHA

“From the lectures, to the farm walks, to the people to the food, this was an amazing event set in a wonderful venue. I benefitted from having exposure to the cutting edge lectures. From the quirky to technical, they all enriched me and gave me a better understanding of cheesemaking. Being able to create connections with other people in the cheese industry was also a huge benefit. It’s gatherings like this that working in the cheese industry is all about!”
