Your investment will help to raise the profile and secure the future of the cheese industry. We all want to be part of an industry that is evolving, developing and highly regarded, both by trade and consumers. The aim is to educate; from production to consumption - and all of the stages in between. Your association and support of the creation of this recognised industry qualification will help secure and shape the future of our industry. There is a need and desire for the Academy - but ultimately financial investment is needed, otherwise this cannot be taken to the next stage.


In 2017 we are looking to raise investment capital. We are asking for a minimum of ten stakeholders to progress.

This is for:

  • Accrediting training providers to provide Level 1
  • Developing and accrediting Academy Levels 1 and 2
  • Building examination structures for those levels
  • Developing a systematic approach to tasting cheese
  • Creating or building links to the full curriculum of study material
  • Building the proprietary website for the Academy
  • Fast tracking experienced cheese professionals through Academy Levels 1 & 2

Initial actual benefits, in terms of marketing and collaboration opportunities, will be balanced with being involved at the start - of this exciting opportunity. Research has shown that there is a need and we now need to fill this.
