Harvest Special – English Cheese & Wine Matching


Cheese writer Patrick McGuigan and Master of Wine Lydia Harrison of WSET School London are hosting an evening of English Cheese & Wine matching, live and free to join on Zoom.

The duo will be tasting 3 English wines across various styles perfectly paired with 3 fabulous British cheeses, they’ll explore the complimentary nature of cheese and wine from a variety of local producers.

If you would like to join in, here is what they will be enjoy, or simply taste along with whatever you have at home and see what you enjoy!

Gusbourne Blanc de Blancs 2015 with Brightwell Ash (soft, ashed goat’s cheese from Norton & Yarrow in Oxfordshire) 

Stopham Pinot Gris 2018 with Yorkshire Pecorino Fresco (young, sheep’s milk cheese made in Leeds by Mario Olianas) 

Bolney Estate Pinot Noir with Baronet (washed rind, cow’s milk cheese by the Old Cheese Room in Wilts)
