What will I learn?
The Guild of Fine Food is a founding patron of this not for profit organisation that is establishing a cheese qualification on four levels. The Academy has been set-up to promote cheese knowledge and provide career development, both within the industry and amongst the wider public. It culminates in the highly qualified and industry accredited role of Master of Cheese.
Delve into nine distinct areas of cheese
From the cheesemaking process, maturing, affinage and grading to presentation, buying and distribution, Level 2 of the Academy of Cheese will enable you to progress your career in the industry and implement your new found knowledge in a range of settings. By the time you complete this course, you will have intimate working knowledge of more than 100 different cheeses.
When is it?
The first enrolment for Academy of Cheese Level 2 is for Thursday 26th and Friday 27th September 2019 (two day course), running from 09.30-17.00 both days. There will be a further course on 13 & 14 November. Both courses will be run by the Guild of Fine Food at their London office on Southwark Street.
