Stephen Fleming is the owner and founder of George & Joseph Cheesemongers in Leeds.   

Starting life in 2012 trading at markets in and around Leeds, George & Joseph opened their first shop in 2013 in the suburb of Chapel Allerton.  They moved to larger premises in 2017, which allowed them to widen their range of cheeses and accompaniments. 

In 2018 they were named Best Specialty Cheese Retailer at the Great British Cheese Awards. 

George & Joseph champion artisan British cheese, and have a particular focus on Yorkshire produced cheeses.   

They also lots of experience hosting tasting events, both in their shop and over Zoom, and are frequent collaborators with other food and drink businesses.
